About The Position

iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to Join our Team Onsite in Irvine, CA! This is a one-year contract role, and candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. We are seeking a technically strong and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to join our regional IT team in Irvine, California. This role blends Game Development DevOps support with hands-on IT support operations. You will work closely with teams across regions to support Game Studio applications and environments while supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, and drive automation across systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Passion for being a service-oriented engineer who actively seeks to improve the development experience.
  • Five+ years of DevOps, Build, or Automation experience in the Games or Tech industry.
  • Proficiency with C# or C++, and familiarity with interpreted languages such as Python.
  • Experience owning, administrating, and developing DevOps systems such as CI/CD, Source Control, Telemetry, Build Delivery, or an Automation Framework
  • Experience with Perforce at an administrative level (Perforce Commit | Brokers | Proxies | Replicas).
  • High comfort level extending and improving an established code base
  • Value lean, simple, efficient, well-tested code.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5x developer ecosystem, including DDC, Horde and Preflight.
  • In-depth experience developing or maintaining CI / CD pipelines running on Jenkins or Horde.
  • Hands on experience optimizing build bottlenecks that impacts developer experience.
  • Familiarity with AAA asset and code pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Help define, implement, and maintain pipelines that enable rapid iteration
  • Work with IT teams to ensure a quality setup for all developers, tools, and pipelines.
  • Work closely with teammates to design and develop highly scalable, available, and reliable DevOps tools, including CI/CD, Build and Artifact Delivery, Source Control, Code Review and Validation.
  • Work with developers to make improvements to the team’s ability to develop and test the game, including consoles, as well as PC Support testing, CI/CD automation, performance tuning, and documentation for internal IT applications.
