About The Position
The Designer IV – Engineering role is responsible for managing and performing the design of multiple simultaneous projects and developing their technical aspects throughout all phases. The position provides technical expertise to project teams in areas including detailing, code analysis, project documentation, construction administration, and other project-centric processes. It also supports technical detailing across a variety of materials and systems, develops quality review protocols, reviews and writes specifications, mentors the team in specification production, and collaborates with designers and teams to translate design concepts into sound technical solutions.
Requirements
- Associate degree required.
- 10+ years of experience (listed with a question mark in the posting).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in computer software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
- Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to active participation as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
Responsibilities
