About The Position

The Designer IV – Engineering role is responsible for managing and performing the design of multiple simultaneous projects and developing their technical aspects throughout all phases. The position provides technical expertise to project teams and collaborates with designers and multidisciplinary teams to translate design concepts into sound technical solutions.

Requirements

• Associate degree required.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with computer software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to active participation as part of a multidisciplinary design team.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to project teams regarding detailing, code analysis, project documentation, construction administration, and other project-centric processes.
• Provide technical detailing using a variety of materials and systems.
• Develop additional quality review protocols to enhance existing procedures.
• Review and write specifications, and mentor the team in their production.
• Collaborate with designers and teams to translate design concepts into sound technical solutions.
• Manage and perform the design of multiple simultaneous projects, developing technical aspects throughout all phases.
