This role is part of an iconic brand set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace. The Senior Designer I, Visual Experience will be instrumental in creating and refining the visual design language based on Scout’s brand identity, leading visual design work from ideation to implementation, and developing designs that express the Scout brand coherently across digital and print mediums. This includes defining and evolving the visual tone, color palette, and overall aesthetics, creating documentation of assets/guidelines/templates, and collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in UX Design or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic or visual design.
  • Strong body of work that illustrates range of aesthetic range and design sensibilities.
  • Ability to create expressive design work with and without the boundaries of a visual identity systems.
  • Proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, some motion/video editing
  • Knowledge of user experience design/UX.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive with a high degree of autonomy and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

  • Create and refine our visual design language based on Scout’s brand identity.
  • Lead visual design work from ideation to mock-ups to implementation.
  • Develop designs that express the Scout brand coherently across digital and print mediums.
  • Define and evolve the visual tone, color palette, and overall aesthetics - creating documentation of assets/guidelines/templates.
  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into designs.
