Responsibilities

  • Perform bench-level IC characterization, initial silicon operating reviews, troubleshooting, early bug reporting, correlation, data review, and summary reporting.
  • Develop the hardware and software needed to fully characterize newly designed silicon and perform analyses to validate designs and characterize performance.
  • Develop characterization solutions and interface with the device under test using interfaces such as SPI, I2C, USB, UART, and GPIB.
  • Plan and execute device bench tests and pre- and post-silicon activities; provide technical expertise ahead of tape-out.
