About The Position

This role provides technical expertise to support the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions. The position involves completing documentation with a high degree of quality and adhering to Technical Services Standards. Services include creating CAD drawings (flows, plans, elevations, details), system descriptions, equipment research, selection, custom product design, and system integration. The role also requires researching and analyzing the capabilities of available hardware and software options, designing integrated audiovisual systems that meet specific customer needs, and supporting projects and the team throughout the implementation process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Design Engineering experience is preferred
• Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems
• Knowledgeable of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, BSS)
• Ability to prepare, understand, and interpret advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction, and electrical drawings
• Knowledge of project financial reports, and the ability to control costs in the design and management of projects is essential
• Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent

Nice To Haves

• CTS and CTS-D certifications are a plus, but not required with the right experience
• Any other industry related certs or training are also a plus (Ex: Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure etc.)
