Senior Design Engineer - Manufacturing
About The Position
MPS Stockton is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to ensure the reliability and accuracy of engineering digital systems and tools. This is an onsite role at the company’s facility in Stockton, California. The position serves as a liaison between engineering and other functional areas on engineering systems and administers systems including JDE (ERP), SolidWorks PDM Vault, Drawing Configurator, and process sheet generation. The role also provides training and user documentation for engineering systems, completes required documents accurately, adheres to 5S standards, and follows safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Oracle JD Edwards or a similar ERP system.
- Knowledge of Drawing Configurator and process sheet generation.
- Critical reasoning, solution-based thinking, and research skills.
- Ability to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between engineering and other functional areas regarding engineering systems.
