About The Position

The Senior Deployment Planner is responsible for deploying products to distribution centers in a timely manner to ensure all orders are filled. This role requires awareness of all inventory, its location, code dates, and its destination for order fulfillment. The planner will also coordinate orders placed with copackers, including submitting orders and coordinating transportation, as well as coordinating the direct shipment of product from Hormel plants and multiple Cold Storage facilities.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to handle detail work accurately and efficiently.
Ability to initiate appropriate action independently with minimal managerial supervision.
Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to initiate appropriate action independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities

Deploys products to distribution centers in a timely manner to ensure all orders are filled.
Ensures proper code date rotation and that inventory meets order code date restrictions.
Maintains awareness of all inventory, its location, code dates, and its destination for order fulfillment.
Coordinates orders that are placed with copackers, including submitting orders and coordinating transportation.
Coordinates the direct shipment of product from Hormel plants and multiple Cold Storage facilities.
