Senior Demand Planner

LuminizeSan Diego, CA
$10,500 - $125,000Onsite

About The Position

At Luminize, we help brands win, and as one of the top 5 Amazon sellers in the US, the decisions we make about what to buy and when move fast — and matter. We're looking for a Senior Demand Planner to build and maintain the rolling 12-month purchasing forecast that drives budgets and buying decisions across our entire brand portfolio. In this role, you'll turn sell-through data into forward-looking purchasing plans, partner daily with our Supply Chain Analyst team to standardize forecast inputs, and work directly with Brand Management to make sure every forecast reflects what's actually happening at the brand level. You'll also serve as our go-to expert in demand and inventory forecasting, mentoring less experienced team members along the way. If you want your next move to mean more - more ownership, more growth, and more impact - we'd love to meet you!

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or inventory planning (8+ years preferred)
  • Proven expertise in sell-through-based forecasting and purchasing planning, ideally within Amazon 1P/3P, e-commerce, or CPG
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills - comfortable building and maintaining complex, multi-tab forecasting models from scratch, not just operating pre-built templates
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory and logistics management within FBA
  • Proven ability to manage higher-risk decisions involving significant capital
  • Proven ability to mentor and train team members
  • Excellent communication skills for aligning inputs across a large analyst team and non-technical brand stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Luminize's rolling 12-month purchasing forecast, built from sell-through data across the full brand portfolio
  • Onboard new brands into the forecasting model, and maintain visibility into offboarding as brands or SKUs wind down
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Analyst team to collect, standardize, and validate the inputs that feed the forecast each month
  • Work directly with Brand Management to incorporate brand-level priorities, launches, and promotional plans into the forecast
  • Maintain Purchasing vs. Plan variance reporting and roll forecast outputs into total business and brand-level budgets
  • Resolve forecasting and inventory discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, turnaround time, and usability
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in demand and inventory forecasting, providing guidance and training to team members

Benefits

  • Multiple medical plan options through Anthem Blue Cross
  • Dental & vision insurance (including orthodontia and annual exams)
  • Pet benefit program with savings on vet care, products, and services
  • Paid vacation (accruing up to 120+ hours/year with rollover and cap)
  • Paid holidays annually
  • Coverage for spouses/domestic partners and dependents under 26
