About The Position

This role is responsible for improving demand forecast accuracy for Paint items within Paint Stores Group (PSG) to enhance customer satisfaction, sales, profitability, and overall supply chain performance. It supports cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to manage product lifecycle activities, including new product introductions and ongoing demand planning. The role also leads Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives and facilitates Sales and Operational Planning reviews to ensure alignment with customer and brand strategies. The travel for this position is 10%. This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher or four (4) years work of experience in supply chain
• Must have two (2) years of work experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, or Operations

Nice To Haves

• Have Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Supply Chain
• Have three (3) years of work experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, or Operations
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Excel, including writing formulas, formatting and sorting data, creating pivot tables and importing/exporting excel data to and from proprietary software
• Have APICS CPIM Certification
• Have work experience with Blue Yonder Solutions, Business Objects-DSF & SCIS, MES, QAD, REACH, AOM, IVAN
• Have work experience with Procurement, Technical or Manufacturing experience within the coatings industry

Responsibilities

• Continuously improving the accuracy of the forecasts of the demand for finished goods in order to improve customer satisfaction, sales, profitability and overall supply chain effectiveness.
• Assisting Sales, Marketing, Materials/Purchasing Management, Operations, Supply Chain and the Technical group in managing the product lifecycle process.
• Forecasting the quantity and timing of demand for current products, including the introduction of new products to market.
• Utilizing a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
• Participating in research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine forecasts to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
• Executing product life cycle management.
• Leading Lean, Continuous Improvement Projects and Sales and Operational Planning reviews supporting assigned Customers and Brands.
