About The Position

As a WBS 9 Electrical Equipment Senior Delivery Stream Engineer, you will lead and oversee all procurement activities (pre-Purchase Order (PO) and post-PO) for the APX Supply Chain Team. The primary focus is to ensure electrical equipment and components are delivered on schedule, on budget, and meet all applicable quality requirements. This role is an individual contributor position responsible for large scale AP1000 New Plant Procurement Projects, involving collaboration with cross-functional teams and utilizing standard work to build, execute, and report project implementation plans. You will lead all procurement activities in assigned programs to ensure readiness for pre-PO and post-PO, aiming for predictive delivery during execution. You will also partner with APX Supply Chain functional teams to assist with project charters, benefits, and resource requirements, and be responsible for monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues. The role involves investigating, coordinating, and communicating project changes, and contributing to the development of a sourcing plan to minimize risks, generate savings, and ensure predictive delivery. This position reports to the Delivery Stream Senior Manager, AP1000 and is located on a hybrid basis out of the Cranberry Township, PA office, with no relocation offered.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Engineering field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience (experience in contract/project administration, preferably of large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects is preferred).
• Strong analytic experience with advanced problem-solving ability and high attitude for ownership.
• Ability to develop and maintain long term productive relationships with suppliers.
• A team player collaborating with multiple regions & product lines to serve Westinghouse's customers.
• Experience in International Sourcing and knowledge of supplier base.
• Strategic & analytical orientation with ability to translate strategy into tangible operational results.
• Experience with large and complex cross-functional projects.
• Ability to travel globally up to 20% based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Sign off on Safety Related requisitions as needed.
• Review and communicate safety-related requirements and details with suppliers.
• Support development of sourcing & procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams. Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers, and establish a communication channel towards the suppliers.
• Support Commercial Teams with execution of sourcing strategies to achieve business goals while driving continuous improvement.
• Analyze and evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements. Develop strategies and tactics to maximize supplier base cost/value.
• Develop and maintain extensive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.
• Utilize the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.
• Understand all the key operational & commercial elements of suppliers.
• Understanding of supplier capacity, capability and manufacturing processes compared to project technical requirements in collaboration with Supplier Performance Excellence (SPE) Organization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement policies and procedures.
• Manages supply and supplier commitments after purchase order or contract is made, including change and contract management. Understanding and analyzation of the entitlement and cost basis, supporting negotiation, drafting agreements on changes and reflecting the change in the System (SAP, etc.)
• Support the Accounts Payables for resolution of discrepancies between the supplier invoices and the purchase orders.
