About The Position

ADP is hiring a Senior Data Services Consultant. This role supports the Canada Implementation team by managing and coordinating client data conversion activities and other data services from start to finish. The consultant ensures all required client data is converted, validated, and populated accurately, securely, and on time in the ADP solution. This involves collaborating with implementation associates, project managers, sales associates, and customers to ensure successful project execution. The role also requires collaboration with the Data Services Subject Matter Expert, the US Data Services team, and back-office teams as needed. This position primarily supports implementation, as well as service and sales (Canada and Cross Border) and ADP clients nationally for data conversion and import activities, providing consulting, data analysis, data strategy support, and data import activities. The Senior Data Services Consultant is accountable for overall data conversion results, ensuring commitments on data strategy, timelines, and quality are met, and that actions, deliverables, solutions, and advice align with established business objectives and methodology. They also manage request queues and support other Data Services Consultants.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in data migration projects with proven proficiency in utilizing spreadsheets and database files, importing, and exporting files of various formats.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience with implementation process flows and project management with a focus on timely task planning.
Advanced knowledge of extract, transform and load concepts and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications ie: Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal/external clients & relate to all levels of the organization through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting).
Strong analytical skills, exceptional client management skills, ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to multitask, Superior organizational and time management skills.
Elevated knowledge of ADP implementation process flows and methodology.
Ability to establish and maintain effective & constructive relationships with internal/external clients, vendors, and associates, earning trust & respect through demonstrating a consistent commitment to exceed expectations.
Ability to teach and provide clear guidelines.
Ability to communicate effectively with Leaders and other Senior Roles.
Detail oriented -- ability to drill down to the finest detail to ensure quality of data.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Webex, remote communication, and data manipulation & transfer tools.
Thorough understanding of data movement requirements and system architecture logic (i.e., timing, field format criteria, dependencies etc.)
Basic understanding of system integration concepts and knowledge of ADP data function for data quality and metadata management.
Knowledge of ADP products and system functionality related to data.
Custom Reporting skills for validation and troubleshooting purposes.
Ability to negotiate, mediate and facilitate.
Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is required for this position.
Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards or Oracle environments is considered an asset.
Knowledge of Payroll, HR, TLM and/or accounting systems, ADP product knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge/Experience using Alteryx and Data Lake is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides professional consulting to clients (internal and external) on data strategy for implementation during extract, conversion and import activities. Applies to all account types and may be called upon to serve as a dedicated resource, as required.
Professionally manage and support to resolution the overall data conversion project through the effective management of project queue, throughout all conversion activities and coordination of stakeholders ensuring a Stellar Service client experience.
Works collaboratively with Implementation peers to deliver complete & accurate client data files for parallel testing and/or live processing including receiving and modifying files, developing technical specifications, evaluation and balancing of any quantitative data to client provided totals.
Proactively contribute to the development of a library of tools and resources for the purpose of client data conversion and assist in the training of less tenured newly hired data services associates.
Identifies, recommends, or refers any issues or opportunities which arise from client queries to the appropriate internal ADP Team.
Exemplifies the principles of Stellar Service ultimately fosters client loyalty.
Proactively contribute and collaborate to documentation on processes and procedures insuring consistent best practices for the team. May be called upon to prepare and/or deliver ad hoc training sessions to Implementation associates of all levels.
Contribute and collaborate on projects, product releases & enhancements ensuring a quality client experience regarding all areas of Data Services.
Provide Data Services expertise in the sales process, as required.
Actively participate in client meetings managing the data strategy plan and other services.
Perform billable tasks for ADP customers as required such as loading historical data.
Operate effectively within ADP and Client security and privacy guidelines.
Provide ADPWorks and SharePoint updates as required.
Contribute and collaborate with the US on cross border functionality and procedures.
Contribute and collaborate on Proof-of-Concept activities to test new technologies or integration architectural designs for acceptable functionality, scalability, availability, and performance results.
Proactively contribute to gathering metrics on data services activities.
Maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of all ADP product offerings and related functional capabilities and processing workflows.
Act as the SME for knowledge on data strategy with external vendor products.
Proactively contribute to researching and defining best practices and standards for data services.
Project management and communication skills.
Proactively contribute to providing product feedback and recommendations to product management based on client experience in integration projects.
Other related duties as assigned.
