  • Hands-on experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and Databricks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, train, and deploy production NLP pipelines for summarization, classification, clustering, automated tagging, and semantic search.
  • Expertise in data-quality assessments, profiling, cleansing, validation, and anomaly detection.
  • Practical experience developing and deploying pipelines and analytical workflows in enterprise platforms such as Databricks or Palantir Foundry, or in AWS/Azure cloud environments.
  • Experience collaborating in Agile software development environments that support automated testing, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Ability to create data visualizations and dashboards, communicate with technical and leadership stakeholders, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus at least 6 years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED plus at least 16 years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases, and embedding-based search techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with machine-learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn, and big data/NoSQL platforms such as PySpark, Scala, R, or MongoDB.
  • Experience crafting executive reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Python visualization libraries.
  • Direct experience supporting the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, or secure federal government cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured enterprise-scale data.
  • Build, train, and deploy production NLP pipelines for document summarization, text classification, clustering, automated tagging, and semantic search.
