About The Position

Fantom Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support a mission-critical enterprise. The role is responsible for developing machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions. The position creates AI capabilities for intelligent products and data-driven decision-making, supports AI/ML work across the model lifecycle, and monitors system health, user metrics, performance, and operational availability.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10 or more years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with AI/ML.
• Experience with Python, large datasets, and advanced SQL; exposure to AWS and Azure.
• Strong technical expertise, including mentorship responsibilities and delivering process optimization.
• Cross-team collaboration experience and use of secure software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Create artificial intelligence capabilities to power intelligent products and data-driven decision-making.
• Support AI/ML across the full model lifecycle, from data exploration and feature engineering through validation and refinement.
• Monitor system health, user metrics, performance, and operational availability.
• Provide technical mentorship and deliver process optimization.
• Collaborate across teams and use secure software development practices.
