About The Position

Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Washington, DC. The role uses big data technologies and data science models to analyze large volumes of data and produce valuable insights. The position emphasizes science, modeling, and programming rather than visualization and analytics. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Selected individuals may be subject to Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph examinations based on their assignment after starting, and must be able to obtain and maintain any required CI Polygraph eligibility throughout employment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, and ten years of experience in a related field. A reasonable salary range is $150,000–$205,000; individual salaries depend on factors including local market conditions and candidate qualifications.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph requirement, with eligibility to obtain and maintain any required CI Polygraph eligibility throughout employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ten years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with Python, Apache Spark, R, Databricks, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning (ML), predictive and decision modeling, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and data wrangling and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Find and design new approaches to handling, analyzing, and using large volumes of data.
• Explore fundamental issues involving data handling, search, and retention.
• Solve complex data and storage issues.
• Design software code to improve data search processes.
• Design, test, and validate data quality and data processes.
• Analyze and report results with actionable recommendations.
