Senior Data Scientist, Full Stack

IREN•San Francisco, CA
•$225,000 - $285,000•Hybrid

About The Position

The Senior Data Scientist, Full Stack enables the modernization of IREN’s global Supply Chain systems and tools portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Analytics & Engineering, this individual will shape data architecture, tooling standards, and ways of working. The work spans GPU and compute hardware, networking, power and electrical equipment, construction materials, and services—categories with long lead times, constrained supply, and high capital intensity, where data quality directly affects delivery dates and cost. IREN is a leading AI Cloud Service Provider that delivers large-scale GPU clusters for AI training and inference. Its vertically integrated platform includes grid-connected land and data centers in renewable-rich regions across the U.S. and Canada. IREN builds, owns, and operates data centers using 100% renewable energy. The role is hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area once an office is established. Until the planned Santa Clara office opens, the role will work remotely. The position requires reliable commuting to the assigned office on scheduled in-office days and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to supplier and vendor sites, data centers, implementation partner locations, and industry events. Pre-employment screening, including background checks and substance testing, may be required according to company policies. The expected base salary is USD $225,000–$285,000 per year. Total compensation may include an annual incentive bonus and long-term incentive equity. Relocation or a living-out allowance/per diem may be available depending on the successful candidate’s circumstances. Benefits include company-paid health coverage, disability insurance, voluntary insurance options, an Employee Assistance Program, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off and holidays, professional development, and company events.

  • Ability to deliver data-driven storytelling for a broad stakeholder team and audience.
  • Strong understanding of supply-chain processes, tools, and stakeholder interactions, with experience working with ERP/MRP, CLM, PLM, and QMS tools.
  • Expert SQL and strong Python skills; comfortable with dbt or an equivalent transformation framework.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-native analytics.
  • Experience integrating ERP and procurement systems, such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, Coupa, or Ariba, through APIs, extracts, or CDC.
  • Solid grounding in dimensional modeling, master-data concepts, and data-quality practices.

  • Define conformed dimensions and master-data rules, including supplier hierarchy, category taxonomy, and site and project codes, with the Director, Data Analytics, and master-data owners.
  • Set and enforce engineering standards for version control, code review, testing, environments, and deployment.
  • Implement automated data-quality checks for completeness, freshness, and reconciliation to source, and publish data-quality metrics.
  • Maintain data lineage, definitions, and a catalog so analysts and business users can find and trust data.
