About The Position

This position involves leading and driving the development of advanced AI models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. The role requires expertise in analytics, big data, and automation methods. The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data-related or mathematical solutions using the most effective tools and methods. They will provide expert guidance and advice to team members, ensuring alignment with customer and business needs, and fostering commitment to perspectives and rationales. Understanding the business context, including industry factors, common business practices, and relevant metrics, is crucial. The role also involves providing recommendations to business stakeholders, developing business cases for projects, and acting as a liaison between business needs and tangible solutions. Development and testing of code for AI solutions, incorporating business, technical, and data requirements, using recommended programming languages, is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or the equivalent in Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Implementing data analysis and data mining using Python and R for data-driven decision making.
• Applying SQL and NoSQL databases for data management and management.
• Experience with data mining algorithms and techniques: GLMs, CART/CHAID, Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, Cluster Analysis, Recommender systems, Time Series Analysis, Survival Analysis, Text Mining.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL.
• Working in big data environments like Hadoop, Hive or Spark.
• Coding in languages including Java, C++, and Python for solution development and deployment.
• Using Docker containerization and Kubernetes for encapsulating applications and their dependencies for consistent operation.
• Utilizing Cloud platform for scalable and flexible application deployment and operation, such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Using Git for version control.
• Leveraging analytics and automation techniques to translate business problems into mathematical solutions.
