Senior Data Quality Analyst
About The Position
Komodo Health is seeking a Senior Data Quality Analyst to join their Data Product Quality team. The team's mission is to define, build, monitor, and improve the quality of Komodo's Data Products. Data quality analysts support, investigate, and solve tangible data quality issues, helping to triage and resolve data anomalies within the business and analytical context of the Healthcare Map. This role involves designing, maintaining, and implementing data quality assurance processes, including the daily management of the data issue resolution workflow. Typical tasks include performing complex data analysis, assessing the completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data products, supporting the customer issue resolution process, and implementing operational workflows that support end-to-end data quality at Komodo.
Requirements
- Fluent with healthcare data, specifically claims, EHR, and lab data.
- Keenly analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex problems with limited supervision.
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with Relational Databases AND/OR Proficient in scripting with Python.
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced and demanding agile environment.
- Worked with testing data within a data warehouse, ODS or analytics DB.
- Comfortable with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
- Ability to leverage AI tools (Gemini, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to enhance personal productivity, streamline workflows, content and visualization creation.

- Open to remote in any US location or NYC/SF hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Support, investigate, and solve tangible data quality issues.
- Triage and solve data anomalies set within the business and analytical context of the Healthcare Map.
- Design, maintain, and implement data quality assurance processes.
- Manage the daily data issue resolution workflow.
- Perform complex data analysis.
- Assess completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data products.
- Support the customer issue resolution process.
- Implement operational workflows that support end-to-end data quality at Komodo.
- Become an expert with Komodo's healthcare datasets, especially data sources for Komodo’s healthcare map.
- Effectively partner with customer-facing teams to reconcile client requirements with the data quality capabilities of KH.
- Successfully identify data product bugs that surfaced in a customer’s specific use case and manage their resolution by Engineering.
- Incorporate a good understanding of the healthcare datasets at Komodo to implement and improve data quality monitoring for incoming source data.
- Leverage AI tools (Gemini, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to enhance personal productivity, streamline workflows, content and visualization creation.
