About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a Senior Data Integration Engineer, estimated to last 12 months with possible extensions. The work setting is hybrid, requiring 2 days remote and 3 days onsite (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) at the Austin, TX location. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. The role involves leading an agile development team, acquiring and integrating data from various sources, developing complex SQL scripts and Informatica automation for data transformation, collaborating on data design, and verifying/validating scripts and automation.

Requirements

• Experience with Developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica Power Center or IICS (8 years).
• Experience with Acquiring and integrating data from multiple data sources/technologies using Informatica Power Center or IICS for use by a Tableau data visualization object, including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF (8 years).
• Experience with Designing and developing complex Snowflake SQL scripts that are fast and efficient (8 years).
• Experience with as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project (8 years).
• Experience with Technical writing and diagramming, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and MS Project (8 years).
• Experience with Planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units (8 years).
• Experience with Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices (8 years).

Responsibilities

• Fill the role of a technical leader, leading an agile development team through a project.
• Data acquisition from a variety of data sources for multiple uses.
• Develop complex SQL scripts to transform source data to fit into a dimensional model, then create views and materialized views in Oracle.
• Develop automation with Informatica Power Center/IICS to pull data from external data sources and transform it to fit into a dimensional model.
• Collaborate with other members of the Data Engineering Team on the design and implementation of an optimal data design.
• Verification and validation of SQL scripts, Informatica automation, and database views.
• Develop automated means of performing verification and validation.
