Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in a fast paced, high growth tech environment is preferred.
• Experience with databases and data infrastructure, either from work or school projects.
• Experience in big-data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Kafka, Flink.
• Experience improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources.
• Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and optimize data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Bring expertise to help model structured & unstructured data.
• Own these data models and be a data POC across teams.
• Collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers to understand data needs and drive key data infrastructure decisions across application teams.
• Be a team player and a mentor with strong communication skills.
