About The Position

Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Flow Engineer in our Intel Sector’s Cyber & Analytics Business Area. Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. Our LOE program provides our customer's Operations organization with the best possible solutions for their mission needs. We achieve this through rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research. From leading-edge visualizations to analytic development, we're always pushing the boundaries to find new and better data sources and tradecraft to answer intelligence questions. With a focus on collaboration and a fast-paced environment, our prototype development program is the ideal place to grow your skills and make a real impact. Seeking a Dataflow Engineer who will focus on system operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, with specific attention to NiFi dataflows and NiFi cluster management; some light Python scripting is required. The candidate will also support system integration, upgrade, and deployment activities. The majority of the time will be spent working with systems that ingest large volumes of data. Responsibilities will include Elastic cluster management and deployment, creating Kibana visualizations and dashboards, and enhancing data analytic solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working knowledge of NiFi is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Linux and Docker.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth understanding of corporate dataflow.
  • Knowledge of common tools such as DX, ElasticSearch, Kibana.
  • Light Python scripting is required.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the customer’s analytic tools.
  • Kubernetes.
  • Kafka.
