About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, operating forklifts, and ensuring the sales floor and merchandising presentation are in accordance with company policies. This role also involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining facility safety, and assisting with club pickup orders. The associate will handle, move, and display goods safely, track inventory, and report any issues. Technology proficiency is also a key aspect, including assisting customers with technology services and identifying/fixing shrink opportunities. The role emphasizes respect for individuals, teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to serving customers and striving for excellence.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
• Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
• Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
• Proactively identifies customers who need help and assists them with technology services and items.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and takes steps to fix the problem.
• Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
• Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
• Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
