Senior Data Engineer- Fusion Experience
About The Position
The Senior Data Engineer will integrate data from Oracle Fusion applications with other sources to support operational and reporting requirements. The role involves independently designing, developing, and maintaining automated, reusable, and scalable ETL pipelines; translating business needs into technical specifications and data mappings; and writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining code for data integration and processing. The engineer will troubleshoot pipeline failures, processing errors, and data inconsistencies; tune queries, data flows, and storage for improved performance; and implement automated data-quality checks and controls to protect sensitive information, including PII and PHI. The position also requires documenting technical solutions, clearly explaining issues, and coordinating with hospital stakeholders and engineering teams. The employee must reside in greater Cleveland or relocate at personal expense and be available to work onsite at Southwest General Hospital.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience extracting, integrating, or processing data from Oracle Fusion applications.
- Experience independently designing, developing, and maintaining automated ETL pipelines.
- Ability to write, test, debug, and maintain code for data integration and processing.
- Experience with database queries, indexing, and storage optimization.
- Experience profiling source data and implementing validation and integrity checks.
- Understanding of data retention, access controls, and secure handling of sensitive information, including PII and PHI.
- Must reside in greater Cleveland or relocate at personal expense and be available to work onsite at Southwest General Hospital.
