About The Position
We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our client, a dynamically growing company in the banking industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating systems, and ensuring top-tier data quality and availability.
Requirements
- Strong experience with data storages, with a mandatory focus on SQL Server.
- Proficiency in database programming using SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL.
- Solid experience in data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and APIs.
- Proven track record of building ETL/Data Pipelines and a deep understanding of various data technologies.
- Strong overall understanding of Data and the broader Data Landscape.
- Fluent English (B2/C1 minimum) allowing for seamless communication in an international environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Snowflake and AWS S3 storage.
- Knowledge of DB2.
Responsibilities
- Designing and building ETL processes and data pipelines for integrating data across various systems.
- Enabling reliable and secure data sharing between applications.
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and high availability.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing pipeline performance.
- Collaborating closely with engineering and business teams to gather and fulfill data requirements.
