About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions that enable business decision-making. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models while ensuring data quality, availability, and performance within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery.
Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations and query optimization.
Experience developing Python scripts for API integrations and data ingestion.
Solid experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience with data integration tools such as Fivetran, Supermetrics, or similar.
General knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, particularly data storage and processing services.
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
Experience with dimensional data modeling, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, fact tables, and dimension tables.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
Design and maintain Data Warehouse models.
Develop Python scripts to ingest data from APIs.
Automate data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
Manage and optimize large datasets using Google BigQuery.
Integrate multiple data sources using tools such as Fivetran, Supermetrics, or similar platforms.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across data pipelines.
Collaborate with Analytics, BI, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve data architecture, performance, and operational efficiency.
