About The Position

The Senior Data Development Lead acts as a key technical reference, ensuring architectural consistency, solution robustness, and delivery industrialization, while adhering to established standards for architecture, security, and governance. They actively contribute to defining data solutions and guiding technological choices. They participate in technical decomposition, estimation, and work planning, exercising expert judgment to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges. They ensure alignment with the target architecture and proactively manage technical risks. They oversee the technical coordination of development activities throughout the full cycle (analysis, development, testing, and deployment). They work closely with architects and technical stakeholders, act as the primary reference for developers, and intervene directly in the code when necessary. They ensure platform reliability and delivery quality by implementing and supervising rigorous code review processes. They guarantee compliance with functional and non-functional requirements (security, performance, availability, logging, and error management...), ensure deployment industrialization through solid CI/CD and version management practices, and actively manage technical risks and technical debt. They contribute to the continuous optimization of solutions in terms of performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. They maintain structured technical documentation and promote knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a Data Engineering and Business Intelligence dev lead role, with expertise in the mentioned technologies.
  • 6 to 12 years of experience in the design, development, and industrialization of data solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Professional proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
