AECOM is seeking Senior Data Center Construction Managers nationally. This role involves managing all activities associated with assigned projects, including pre-construction, design, construction phasing, closeout coordination, occupancy, and warranty enforcement for multiple construction projects, encompassing both new construction and renovation. The position requires organizing and coordinating construction activities with the client, client vendors, and other stakeholders. A strong understanding of scheduling, critical milestone activities, schedule logic, and basic construction means and methods is essential. The role includes planning and organizing reports, reviewing documentation from multiple project teams, providing technical direction and guidance, administering client policies, maintaining close interface with the project team, and ensuring all project facets are constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and quality. Responsibilities also include coordinating with the General Contractor, ensuring scheduling of all tests and inspections, arranging for test and inspection reports, reviewing and verifying punch list items, monitoring construction work progress, processing field construction documentation (RFI and submittal validation and logging), providing engineering support, coordinating construction field activities with inspectors, attending site-based meetings, coordinating project documentation with Project Controls (cost and schedule) reviewers, and reviewing/approving Pay Applications. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and documenting the condition of off-site stored materials, including gathering necessary insurances and bills of sale for the Owner to support pay application review and approval.
