AECOM is seeking Data Center Construction Managers nationally. This position can be remote. The role involves managing all aspects of assigned projects, from pre-construction and design through closeout, occupancy, and warranty enforcement for both new construction and renovation projects. The Construction Manager will organize and coordinate construction activities with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, demonstrating a strong understanding of scheduling, critical milestones, and basic construction methods. Responsibilities include planning and organizing reports, reviewing documentation from multiple project teams, and providing technical direction. The role requires ensuring projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and quality standards. This includes coordinating with General Contractors on tests and inspections, reviewing and approving pay applications, and monitoring construction progress. The Construction Manager will also process field construction documentation, provide engineering support, coordinate site-based meetings, and manage project documentation with Project Controls. Participation in technical evaluations for A/E, GC, and vendor selection, as well as cost tracking and budget management, are also key duties.
