About The Position

At Accenture Federal Services, our purpose is to make the US federal government stronger and safer, and to improve the lives of citizens through technology and ingenuity. We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and govern the entire data ecosystem. This role involves establishing the enterprise data model, defining standards for data storage (data lakes, warehouses, databases), and architecting data ingestion, processing pipelines (ETL/ELT), and data access. The architect will collaborate with GRC and security teams to embed data governance, quality, and protection policies into the architecture from the outset. The primary objective is to ensure data is FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) to support advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of additional experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering
• 8 years of experience designing enterprise data architectures and models
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and govern the entire data ecosystem.
• Establish the enterprise data model.
• Define standards for data storage (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, databases).
• Design the architecture for data ingestion, processing pipelines (ETL/ELT), and data access.
• Ensure data governance, data quality, and data protection policies are designed into the architecture.
• Ensure data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) to enable advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale.
