About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect with over 12 years of IT experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Power BI) and Databricks (data engineering, SQL, notebooks, app/backend integration patterns). You will also possess deep expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse patterns, with hands-on experience in modern data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks. A solid understanding of cloud architecture concepts, including security, networking, scalability, and cost management, is crucial. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with both technical and business stakeholders, and experience in client-facing or consulting environments is highly preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting, or equivalent experience, is required.

Requirements

• More than 12+ years of IT experience.
• Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Power BI).
• Databricks (data engineering, SQL, notebooks, app/backend integration patterns).
• Enterprise data warehouses and lakehouse platforms (Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery – experience with one or more).
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse patterns.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern data platform: Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks strongly preferred.
• Experience integrating data platforms with applications using APIs, services, or event-driven patterns.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture concepts (security, networking, scalability, cost management).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting. Or, equivalent experience.
• Data Architect experience.
• Data warehouse experience.
• Lakehouse (Databricks or Microsoft Fabric) experience.
• Datalake experience.
• ADF/Synapse/Data Pipelines (ETL/ELT) experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Strong Pyspark knowledge.
• CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouses and lakehouse platforms.
• Apply deep knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse patterns.
• Integrate data platforms with applications using APIs, services, or event-driven patterns.
• Ensure solid understanding and application of cloud architecture concepts (security, networking, scalability, cost management).
• Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Engage in client-facing or consulting activities.
