About The Position

Under the direction of the Data Content Supervisor, this role involves designing, developing, and executing tools for data entry, data collection, and data verification. The Senior Data Analyst will investigate and resolve problems, and direct and check the work of other staff associated with data capture from the Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) network. This position implements and maintains business solutions for data capture form design, ensuring accurate and timely data capture and submission through coordinated activities with the CIBMTR network in forms development. The role also involves managing multiple projects, leading meetings with real-time note-taking and follow-up, and working closely with Program Directors, Primary Investigators, Scientific Directors, other physician experts, and data managers to organize clinical data elements. The Senior Data Analyst will manage how data are captured through internal applications and other modes, consult with product owners for acceptance testing of data integrity, and compile, generate, and review summarized data, including analysis for key stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes testing, validating, and analyzing data fields for consistency, accuracy, and quality, assisting with supplemental data collection, and collaborating with peers, study teams, scientific directors, the scientific community, and management to support Data Capture goals. Participation in relevant committees for the advancement of Data Capture and the profession, as well as other special projects, are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Project management, communication, critical thinking, and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, digital media, databases, and information security.
  • Customer support, systems analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams and matrixed organizations.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders and team members, specifically where coordination tasks are required.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and priorities while ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare of science related field
  • 2 years experience
  • CITI training required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a healthcare of science related field
  • Knowledge of blood and marrow transplant, gene therapy, cellular therapy, and research in the medical field
  • CCRP, CCRC, or project management preferred.

Responsibilities
