About The Position

As a Senior Data Analyst at Walmart, you will leverage advanced data management and analytical expertise to identify, assess, and interpret complex business data across multiple domains. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes. About the team: The Walmart+ Core Ops & Strategy Enablement Data team develops scalable tools that transform complex data into actionable insights. They conduct detailed analyses and design rigorous experimentation frameworks to support strategic initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team delivers advanced insights that reveal performance drivers beyond standard reporting. Leveraging expertise in big data, SQL, Python, and Tableau, they enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. This team leads projects end-to-end, manages stakeholder relationships, and fosters a culture of learning and innovation to drive impactful results across the Walmart+ ecosystem.

Requirements

  • A sharp eye for turning data into visual clarity : you design intuitive, self-service dashboards and tools that communicate insights effectively and empower stakeholders to explore performance with confidence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Bring data to life through compelling storytelling, translating complex insights into clear narratives that resonate with senior stakeholders and shape the direction of Walmart+ strategy.
  • Build scalable data foundations and consumption tools by transforming complex data into clean, automated pipelines and reusable assets that power self-service insights across teams.
  • Design intuitive dashboards and reporting experiences that go beyond descriptive metrics, enabling cross-functional teams to explore performance deeply and understand the underlying drivers and "why" behind results.
  • Partner closely with Acquisition, Retention, Operations, Member Care, and other cross-functional teams to deeply understand their strategic priorities and translate them into tailored insights.
