About The Position

At Freshworks, we don't just collect data; we use it to build our roadmap. We are looking for a high-impact Senior Data Analyst who can navigate the technical depths of our data lakes but surface with clear, executive-ready insights. This isn't a siloed role. You will be the cross-functional "glue" working between Marketing, IT, Sales Operations, and Senior Leadership. You should be equally comfortable debugging a query as you are explaining ROI trends. You'll have the autonomy to dive deep into the weeds while maintaining the vision to provide high-level summaries that drive our global strategy.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role, specifically within Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, or a similar growth-focused environment
  • Direct experience navigating and extracting data from Salesforce is required
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or a similar visualization suite and ability to leverage AI
  • You are a wizard in Google Sheets or Excel, capable of building dynamic models that calculate ROI, CAC, and LTV with ease
  • You possess the "soft skills" to present to Senior Leadership. You can simplify the complex and hold your own when questioned on methodology.
  • An obsessive attention to detail. You're the person who catches the data discrepancy before anyone else.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL proficiency is strongly preferred for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with Databricks is a plus
  • Familiarity with Python or R is a plus

Responsibilities

  • With an AI-first mindset, design, build, and maintain high-performance dashboards in Tableau or Power BI that serve as the "single source of truth" for Marketing and Sales performance.
  • Leverage Salesforce data to audit Tableau/Power BI dashboards and deep dive into customer journey and Closed/Won Opportunities.
  • Act as a key contributor to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, providing the historical data and predictive modeling necessary to set realistic yet ambitious targets.
  • Partner with IT or Marketing Operations to ensure data integrity and with Sales/Marketing to understand the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Translate complex datasets into polished, persuasive slide decks for executive reviews. You don't just present data; you provide recommendations.
  • Perform end-to-end analysis — from pulling data to building complex ROI models in Google Sheets (or Excel) to measure campaign and channel effectiveness.
