Requirements
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience developing Python-based solutions with a strong focus on data analytics and automation
- Strong scripting and programming expertise in Python for analytics, automation, and scalable solution development
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, data validation, and query performance optimization
- Expert-level Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Proven success working effectively in cross-functional team environments
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve data quality
- Experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions from data extraction through production deployment
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality execution and continuous improvement
Nice To Haves
- Experience building dashboards and analytics in Tableau or similar business intelligence tools
- Prior experience with PTC systems and Energy Management Systems (EMS), including Leader and Trip Optimizer
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, root causes, and opportunities for operational improvement
- Develop and maintain scalable Python-based solutions for data analysis, automation, and workflow optimization
- Write, optimize, and validate advanced SQL queries to support reporting, data integrity, and performance improvement
- Use advanced Excel capabilities, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling, to support business analysis and reporting needs
- Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions aligned to operational goals
- Identify manual, repetitive processes and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Deliver end-to-end analytics solutions, from data extraction and validation through insight generation and production support
- Support, enhance, and troubleshoot EMS platforms, including Leader and Trip Optimizer, through data monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement
- Build dashboards and visual analytics using Tableau or similar BI tools, where applicable, to improve visibility and decision-making
- Contribute to a culture of operational excellence through strong ownership, precision, and continuous improvement
