About The Position

The Operations, Transformation and Automation team is responsible for building and supporting instrumentation, analytics, automation, reporting, and capacity management capabilities. The team is committed to streamlining processes through simplification and automation to improve operations and better serve partners and clients. The Sr. Analyst, Automation & Analytics is responsible for developing solutions using self-serve tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, VBA, Alteryx, Azure DevOps, Power BI, and Tableau to address business problems. The incumbent will assist in resolving routine and non-routine operational problems or issues by investigating, analyzing, and providing informed and independent opinions or recommendations on compliance issues, policy changes, adequacy of operational controls, risk assessment, and control activities. The Sr. Analyst, Automation & Analytics provides technical leadership to develop precise steps and processing logic across all platforms, ensuring designed specifications meet business needs. Additionally, the role provides comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to other senior management and senior technical teams. The role offers consultation for senior management on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging infrastructure technologies, translating user requirements into process and data requirements, and developing solutions for the business with far-reaching impact. The role makes technology selection decisions, often in situations where business requirements are not completely defined. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of business analytics and possess an automation mindset. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements, where flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to think of outside-the-box solutions will be key to success.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years experience in designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications with expertise in most of the following: No/Low Code Tools (VBA, Alteryx, Power Automate, Power App), Analytics Software (Tableau, Power BI), Databases (SAS, Oracle, SQL Server), Cloud (Azure, AWS), ETL (Informatica, SSIS), and Tools (Tools: source control/issue management: Git, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Selenium).
• Experience with Python is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

Nice To Haves

• MBA or Master degree with specialization on Advanced Analytics, ML or AI is considered a plus.
• PMP and Lean 6 Sigma certification are good to have.

• Performing and coordinating complex solution design activities.
• Understanding business requirements and translating them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap.
• Designing and documenting the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces and integrations.
• Leading the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency.
• Contributing to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives.
• Leading multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements.
• Acting as the solution lead and interface with the project teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions.
• Supporting and mentoring junior designers and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration and effective problem solving.
