About the position
As a Data Analyst within our Data Analytics & Insights team, you will play a key role in a new and growing marketing practice. You will partner closely with the Marketing team, utilizing the latest data tech stack and trends in the industry. Your responsibilities will include working with stakeholders to understand data requirements, building and maintaining robust dashboards and reporting tools, performing ad hoc analyses, and training users on data capabilities. With 5+ years of experience in producing actionable insights and proficiency in SQL and modern data stack tools, you will contribute to the high-growth of our company.
Responsibilities
- Work from the stakeholder backwards - embedding yourself into our business teams, understanding data and insights requirements, providing recommendations and delivering data products
- Build, enhance and maintain best-in-class dashboards & reporting tools that are robust, actionable, and aesthetically pleasing
- Perform ad hoc analyses proactively and at the request of cross-functional stakeholders to help answer the business’s pressing questions and needs
- Partner with our Data Engineering organization to prototype data transformations required for reporting or analysis and investigate new datasets or issues in existing data
- Train users on our data capabilities and best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with data to produce actionable insights
- Experience with collecting requirements, defining and implementing metrics, managing projects and stakeholders, and delivering regular communications to cross functional teams
- Proven track record of building actionable dashboards and training end users on leveraging them to the full extent
- Experience with modern MarTech stacks and associated data modeling (product analytics, attribution, CRM, etc.)
- Proficient in SQL and have a strong working knowledge of software engineering workflow tools such as version control and testing
- Proven ability to model data for reporting and analytics needs, or have a very strong understanding of best practices in this area
- Experience with "modern data stack" type tools for reporting, data warehousing, data extraction, data transformation, and workflow orchestration
