About The Position

This role involves embedding a strong quality culture by championing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) across distribution and logistics operations for Service Supply Chain locations. The engineer will conduct process audits, risk assessments, and root cause analyses to identify gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). They will partner closely with manufacturing, sourcing, transportation, and warehouse operations to resolve quality issues impacting customer delivery and service levels. The role also includes leading quality performance management across distribution sites, owning and improving quality processes for rework, returns, kitting, and value-added services, and driving supplier and internal quality issue resolution. Additionally, the engineer will support new process implementations, site launches, and continuous improvement projects, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The position requires working within multiple ERP systems (Oracle & SAP) and interacting with front office operations through Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) — Implementing and sustaining QMS within distribution and supply chain environments
  • Problem Solving — Resolving complex, cross-functional quality challenges with data-driven approaches
  • Process Auditing — Performing layered process audits and identifying systemic improvement opportunities
  • Root Cause Analysis — Utilizing structured methodologies (8D, DMAIC) to eliminate recurring defects
  • PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) — Proactively identifying and mitigating process risks
  • Five Whys / Fishbone Analysis — Deeply analyzing issues to uncover true root causes
  • Change Management — Leading and sustaining improvements in dynamic, multi-site logistics environments
  • Data Analysis & Visualization — Leveraging data to drive insights, KPIs, and decision-making
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across operations, engineering, and leadership
  • Hands-on experience with quality tools and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, CAPA)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive supplier and internal quality issue resolution, ensuring timely containment, corrective actions, and long-term prevention
  • Support new process implementations, site launches, and continuous improvement projects with a strong quality-first mindset
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations across logistics operations
  • Work within multiple ERP systems (Oracle & SAP)
  • Interact with front office operations though Salesforce
