About The Position

Kantiv, formerly Joist AI, is seeking a Senior Customer Marketing & Growth Manager who embodies a growth strategist mindset, thrives in an early-stage startup, and is driven by customer empathy. This role reports to the Director, Product Marketing and will collaborate closely with Customer Success to boost adoption, expansion, and renewal rates within the existing customer base. The position involves being embedded within the CS team, maintaining a close connection with customers, understanding business metrics, and being accountable for outcomes. The successful candidate will partner with Product Marketing and Customer Success to identify high-opportunity customer segments, develop programs to increase their investment over time, and transform satisfied customers into strong advocates. The programs developed will significantly influence customer value perception, CSM renewal success, and overall business growth and scalability. This role requires close collaboration with CS leadership, product marketing, the product team, and the broader marketing team. Requirements

  • 5–7 years in Customer Marketing, Product Marketing (segment-focused or product-focused), Lifecycle Marketing, or Go-to-Market Programs, with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes.
  • A builder’s mindset: ability to write, execute, measure, and improve playbooks independently.
  • Ability to think and operate in systems, understanding interconnections within the business and designing strategies to impact top-line goals.
  • Demonstrated skill in influencing and collaborating cross-functionally with CS, Sales, SDRs, and Product without direct authority.
  • Tenacity as a project manager, owning areas end-to-end in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong storytelling & communication skills and customer empathy.
  • Ability to have polished, confident, on-brand conversations directly with customers.
  • Fluent with AI tools and excited to build the playbook for the future of customer marketing.
  • Ability to travel to major trade shows or customer events 3-4 times per year.
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates in IST and PST time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in martech, salestech, revenue intelligence, or enablement technology.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Loops, or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms.
  • Genuine curiosity about the AEC industry and empathy for customer experiences, needs, and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CS leadership to co-own adoption, expansion, and renewal strategy across key customer segments.
  • Identify high-opportunity accounts and build targeted programs to increase Average Contract Value (ACV) and Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Develop and implement a customer communications strategy (email, webinars, in-app, events, community) to drive measurable action.
  • Launch and scale a customer advocacy program in partnership with CS and Product.
  • Co-own and co-run the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) with CS and PMM.
  • Lead the strategy and project management for Kantiv’s customer community.
  • Collect customer quotes, testimonials, and success stories for sales enablement, website, and campaign content.
  • Build feedback loops between customers and product/marketing teams to influence roadmap and positioning.
  • Represent Kantiv at major industry events (3-4 times per year).
  • Co-host customer webinars and virtual events.
  • Partner with the Events team to maximize customer impact across the broader events program.
  • Define success metrics, build tracking frameworks, and share learnings.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance content creation, research, personalization, and program execution.
  • Help build the playbook for AI-native customer marketing.
