About The Position
Senior Custodians assigned to the Sheriff's Office supervise and direct the work of incarcerated persons in cleaning buildings and grounds. Positions are located at various locations throughout the department. This recruitment may be used to fill other openings as they occur. Note: Occasional nights and weekends may be required based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of paid, custodial experience
- Completion of safety training courses for compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations within six (6) months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Regional Occupational Program (ROP) in Commercial Cleaning or equivalent, is highly-desirable, and may substitute for six (6) months of the required experience
