Senior Custodian-Custodial Services (2 Openings)
About The Position
The Senior Custodian provides custodial services at assigned sites, ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. This role involves performing a variety of special cleaning operations and overseeing the preparation of facilities for classroom activities and campus events. The position performs skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping, and/or general maintenance duties in assigned areas. Additionally, the Senior Custodian exercises care and caution in the use of supplies and equipment while performing custodial tasks. This position is classified as an Essential Services Employee, meaning they maintain business operations for UT Health Science Center, support the physical operations and safety of the campus, and perform various operations and services essential to maintaining critical infrastructure and ensuring continuous operations.
