Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Custodial Manager 2 to oversee daily operations of an 800+ bed hospital on the 2nd shift with rotating weekends and holidays for UF Health Jacksonville Downtown Campus located in Jacksonville, Florida. The Custodial Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager on the 2nd shift and will be responsible to oversee a team of 20-25 frontline housekeeping employees. Will need to be flexible to assist other shifts when business needs arise. Approximate hours are 2:30PM - 11:30PM. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.
Requirements
- Experience leading, training and managing a team
- Customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently to drive program
- Monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion
- Experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
- Results and safety driven
- Proficient with computers and other technology, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
- Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department
