About The Position

The Senior CT Technologist, under the direction of a radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring minimal supervision. The Senior CT Technologist will provide services timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. This requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in special procedures for a radiologic diagnosis, whether scheduled or emergent, while providing radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards. The Senior CT Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. He/she will also participate in the clinical activities, including call, within the outlined department. Requirements

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or Upon hire: National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
  • 3 years General Radiology/CT experience.
