As a CT Technologist, you will collaborate with Radiologists to perform various CT procedures, utilizing technical judgment, expertise, and radiation protection practices to ensure accurate scans while providing exceptional patient care.

Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License.
Active ARRT registration.
ARRT CT Certified OR Registry Eligible (Must successfully obtain your CT certification within 12 months of your hire date).
Current BLS Certification (or obtained at time of hire).

Nice To Haves

1+ years of general radiologic technologist experience with CT exposure is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT exams safely and accurately according to established departmental protocols.
Provide excellent customer service, patient education, and radiation safety checks during all imaging procedures.
Maintain precise patient records across our Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS platforms.
Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for imaging students rotating through our clinical settings.
Collaborate on workflow improvement projects, assist with patient transport, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a clean, stocked imaging environment.
