About The Position

NKI is experiencing rapid growth, and we're looking for a full-time Senior Crypto Test Engineer (Top Secret Cleared) to join our team and support this exciting expansion. The Senior Crypto Test Engineer (Top Secret Cleared) will provide security and functional testing for cryptographic network systems. This is an exciting position which will introduce networking professionals to cutting edge networks and cryptographic systems. We are looking for a Senior Crypto Test Engineer (Top Secret Cleared) to join our team at NKI. This is a 100% onsite, full-time position and will be at the customer's location on Scott Air Force Base.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship required
Top Secret security clearance required
5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.
Experience with Networking (Basic routing, use of Cisco IOS, knowledge of VPNs)
Experience Administering Linux / CentOS (RHCSA preferred)
Experience Configuring/managing cryptographic devices
Experience with Key management systems/PKI concepts
Experience with VPN tunneling, SSH
Experience with Monitoring tools and their implementation (e.g., Snort)

Nice To Haves

Experience with Government Crypto devices.
Security Certifications (CISSP, CompTIA+, Security+).

Responsibilities

Perform configuration and set up of cryptographic devices in a variety of network systems and environments
Perform functional and performance testing of devices to determine suitability with operational military capabilities
Develop test reports
Answer technical queries and assist users
Create/Maintain documentation of system configuration
