About The Position

Ruby Labs is seeking a Senior CRO Manager to join their team and contribute to a category-defining document management platform. The company is past the MVP stage, profitable, and serving a large global customer base. They are rapidly scaling and looking for individuals who thrive on ownership, speed, and building scalable products. This role is not a 9-5 position and offers challenge, autonomy, and fast growth. The Senior CRO Manager will own the full optimization loop end-to-end, including deep funnel analysis, hypothesis generation, creating high-fidelity wireframes and visual specs, collaborating with engineers, and driving performance outcomes. The role focuses on optimizing the entire user journey, from acquisition through activation, retention, and monetization, with a fast and iterative pace of shipping and learning. The compensation structure directly rewards exceeding targets, with significant financial upside for top performers.

Requirements

  • Proven CRO results: 3+ years of hands-on CRO experience, ideally with subscription or SaaS funnels, with documented performance lifts.
  • Funnel + product thinking: You don't just optimize landing pages. You think about the full user journey and how product decisions compound with funnel decisions.
  • AI-native workflow: You actively integrate AI into your daily process - prompting, prototyping, analyzing, drafting - and have opinions about what actually works. Almost a must.
  • Design taste: Strong UI/UX sensibility and the ability to recognize and create ideas that convert. You can build compelling, detailed visual specs yourself.
  • Speed and iteration: Bias for shipping. You'd rather get two well-designed tests live today than one perfect test in a week, and you keep the cycle moving.
  • Analytical depth: Skilled in Mixpanel, GrowthBook, Google Analytics, or similar.
  • Execution excellence: Remarkable attention to detail in fast-moving environments.
  • Ownership: Self-driven, proactive, fully accountable for outcomes.
  • Fluent English: strong written and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to marketing attribution models, UTM parameters, and ROAS measurement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute quickly.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end optimization cycles: research → hypothesis → design → test → rollout, while keeping the cycles short.
  • Use AI tools daily to accelerate research, ideation, design, analysis, and documentation.
  • Perform deep funnel and product analysis across the full user journey - acquisition, activation, retention, monetization - plus competitive benchmarking to surface high-impact opportunities.
  • Design high-fidelity wireframes and visual specs that clearly communicate your vision while protecting brand integrity.
  • Partner with engineers to ensure flawless test implementation and rapid deployment.
  • Analyze results with statistical rigor and make confident scaling decisions.
  • Document learnings and maintain a continuously prioritized testing roadmap.
  • Present insights and results clearly to stakeholders, building alignment and momentum.

Benefits

  • Remote Work Environment
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid National Holidays
  • Company-provided MacBook
  • Flexible Independent Contractor Agreement
