About The Position

Linedata is seeking a Senior Credit Research Associate to join our Global Services team, supporting the investment research and portfolio management activities of a leading global asset management organization. In this role, you will perform credit research, financial analysis, and investment support across a diverse portfolio of debt investments. Working closely with investment professionals, you will assess credit risk, analyze financial statements, review debt documentation, and provide insights that support investment decisions. You will leverage technology and data-driven research tools to validate financial information, improve workflows, and deliver high-quality analysis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in credit research, private credit, leveraged finance, fixed income, or investment analysis who enjoy solving complex financial challenges in a fast-paced environment. As part of Linedata's Global Services organization, you will gain exposure to global credit markets while supporting leading investment management firms and collaborating with experienced investment and research professionals.

Requirements

  • Sound experience in credit research (4+ years)
  • Exposure to US/European capital markets
  • Deep understanding of various debt documents such as credit agreements and bond indentures
  • Strong excel modelling and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to independently execute assignments under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with professional demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in technology-enabled research or data extraction environments
  • Familiarity with basic programming concepts, systems thinking, and/or process-oriented problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Provide credit research and analytical support to global asset managers investing in a broad range of credit instruments
  • Validate system-generated financial statements and financial models by testing data extraction accuracy and ensuring outputs align with reporting standards, covenant requirements, and client expectations
  • Review a wide range of financial documents, including but not limited to quarterly/annual reports, lender presentations, compliance certificates, agreements, prospectus, and ad-hoc disclosures to verify data integrity, and refine extraction rules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process improvement initiatives and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs
  • Conduct detailed analysis of KPIs, segment-level performance, and capital structures to support investment decision-making
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple assignments while meeting demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure adherence to high quality standards and industry best practices
