About The Position

The Senior Credit Manager leads the Credit Department and is responsible for credit risk management, customer credit approvals, collections, and accounts receivable performance. This role ensures credit policies align with the company's risk tolerance while supporting business growth, optimizing DSO, minimizing bad debt, and safeguarding receivables. The position directly supervises the Credit Manager and Credit Analyst.

Requirements

• 7+ years of credit management experience in a leadership capacity.
• Proven expertise in credit risk assessment, collections, and receivables recovery.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Experience managing risk exposure and mitigation strategies.

Nice To Haves

• University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• CCP (Certified Credit Professional) designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all credit, collections, and receivables functions.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and establish appropriate credit limits.
• Manage credit risk exposure and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive improvements in DSO, bad debt expense, and cash flow performance.
• Oversee complex collections and recovery efforts.
• Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on credit-related matters.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead process improvements and develop best-in-class customer service standards.
• Coach, mentor, and develop credit team members.
