About The Position

East West Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst in its Healthcare banking group. The Credit Analyst will collaborate with the team’s Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to conduct due diligence, underwrite new credit facilities, and monitor and maintain the loan portfolio. Key duties involve analyzing financial data to assess loan requests, recommending suitable credit structures, and identifying opportunities to cross-sell or refer other bank products and services. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Recent graduate with 4+ years of banking experience, ideally with credit training or experience in financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong writing and communication skills are critical
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment

Responsibilities

  • Work with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to prepare credit memorandums for senior management, with comprehensive analysis, for prospective and existing clients
  • Assist with portfolio management, including reporting monitoring and updating internal reports and compliance programs
  • Support senior officers in all aspects of underwriting and closing deals and managing existing relationships.
  • Respond to client requests from client private equity firms
  • Complete special projects as needed for other team members and senior management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • The base pay range for this position is USD $71,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
