About The Position

Tressler LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel attorney with at least 10 years of insurance coverage experience and an active California bar license to join its Insurance Services Practice Group. The role may be performed from any state in the U.S., either fully remote or hybrid. The practice represents insurance company clients in complex insurance claims analysis and high-stakes coverage litigation nationwide. Matters may involve defective products, mass torts, environmental contamination, habitability, transportation, personal injury, professional liability, and intellectual property. The position oversees complex coverage litigation and manages cases from intake through settlement or trial, while also advising clients and supporting firm growth through marketing and business development. Requirements

Active California bar license.
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
At least 10 years of litigation experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee complex insurance coverage litigation and manage multiple cases from intake through settlement or trial.
Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets.
Conduct and defend depositions and argue dispositive motions.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients in business, professional liability, and employment disputes.
Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
Assist with marketing and business development efforts to drive firm growth and strengthen client relationships.
