About The Position

Airbnb is seeking a business-oriented Senior Counsel with deep experience in global privacy laws and regulatory compliance to join its global privacy and cybersecurity legal team. The role provides legal support and advice to Airbnb’s business across multiple teams and regions, balancing legal risks with business strategy and applying local and global perspectives. The successful candidate will be adaptable, collaborative, comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and able to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment. The Senior Counsel will serve as the primary privacy legal advisor for Airbnb’s global Payments and Insurance processes and products. The position partners with Payments and Insurance Legal, Privacy Management, Privacy Operations, compliance teams, regional product privacy counsel, and other stakeholders. It also advises on global privacy compliance requirements, data governance, and data lifecycle management. The position is US remote eligible; the employee must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity and may occasionally work from an Airbnb office or attend offsites as agreed with their manager.
